Over the past fifteen years, we have developed our awareness regarding the various packaging and service materials that we introduce to the market. Offering consistent quality products and service is not enough; we must also ensure that we do not flood the market with unnecessary or environmentally harmful products.

In 2016, we supplied over 150,000 items to the market! Among these were; plates, cutlery, napkins and glasses, lunch boxes, and plastic bags to contain everything. It is by realizing the magnitude of this issue that we are even prouder of our Eco-Social Mission, which guides our approach. Each year, we work closely with our suppliers to find the best ecological solutions that also meet our common economic requirements.

We are no longer satisfied with products that are only recyclable; where possible, they must be at least biodegradable and ideally compostable. This is a challenge we meet successfully. Currently, the disposable tableware sets we offer are made of bagasse plates (sugarcane pulp), the cutlery is made from plant starch or oxo-degradable plastic, our lunch boxes are made from Quebec-sourced bioplastic, and our napkins are printed with soy ink. Even our juice cups and the bags in which we deliver these items to you are made from compostable bioplastic.

At Zeste du Monde, our concern for quality does not stop at the food we prepare or at our customer service and delivery. We constantly seek ways to also serve the environment well, and it is our duty to share this responsibility with you.
